The Hamlin Morton Walker Fires District responded for the reported Chimney Fire.
2c24, 2413 with 2c34 2c54 and a crew total of 4, 248 with 2c74 and a total crew of 2, 2432 with 2c48 2c68 and a total crew of 3 and 2425 with a crew of 4 responded on the assignment.
2c24 arrived on location reporting a chimney fire in a metal chimney with unknown extension. Chief Prince requested the crew from 2413 ladder the West side of the structure for access to the roof. Upon the arrival of 2413 they reported the roadway to be very icy and the responding units to use caution approaching the scene. 2413s crew went to the roof and removed the cover to extinguish the fire. Upon arrival of 248 the crew was sent to inside the structure to evaluate the stove. A block in the chimney was found and removed by the interior crew. 2432 arrived and assisted the interior crew with removal of the chimney. 2425 arrived on scene and was relocated to Station 1 to cover the District.
After approximately 45 minutes the fire was under control and units where clearing the scene.
