Chief Tom Sercu, President Doug Brown and Firefighter John Deserto represented the Hamlin Fire Department at this years Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon. The 2008 and the 2009 boot drive contributions were combined into a check for $4345. The local portion of the telethon was recorded live at the School of the Arts auditorium. Pat McGoningle conducted the interview for the contribution and put everyone at ease. When the local section was over there was a few minutes for pictures with both Pat and Rebecca Leclair. Overall this was a very easy and positive experiance and we look forward to doing it again next year.
